Living through Corona – Interview II
I get inspired by my friends .. they are inspiring people. One, who is a writer, researcher and creative chef, told me that she was afraid that the lockdown would end before she had changed everything. That statement struck me and stuck with me: this lockdown period is an opportunity, and one too good to let pass.
One key activity to enhance your happiness (not meditation…but close)
In this week’s interview, Eleonora spoke about many things that I could very much relate to – working out more during Corona, missing the time spent with friends, judging myself for not having a lot of friends, and more. (Read the whole interview here.) And there was in particular one thing that I found so beautiful, so accurate and so helpful. Living through Corona – Interview I
Today I am pervaded by lightness. I woke up at a decent time to a workday that is not filled entirely with work. Today I gave myself space and time for slow living and for recharging my positive energy bar through a long stroll with a friend (at a 1-meter distance, of course!). It has become my mental tooth brushing and it is absolutely wonderful. So, to cut to the chase right away, let me lay out some of the benefits of morning yoga below.
5 Things You Didn’t Know About Morning Routines
The one thing that I cannot stop recommending enough is developing a morning routine. The difficulty with morning routines is that you think that you just have to do what other people do and you have to be, oh, so disciplined to do it every day. But I want to share five secrets with you.

Spending time in silence reduces stress, can lower your blood pressure, and gives way for thought, creativity and expression which ultimately lead to peace and happiness. Silence can truly help you peel away those layers of wrong believes that you have about yourself and your life.
How to practice mindfulness when working from home. Thanks, Corona.
Mindfulness can be in and around you at any given moment. Mindfulness is not necessarily about WHAT you do but about HOW you do things. It is about creating a crack in time, between a trigger and your reaction, a crack in time where you can make a decision on how to respond.
Mindfulness and Hygge
Being in that moment of hygge, embracing its protective features, breathing into the beauty of it, that is mindfulness. Being grateful of this time, the warmth that you feel and being sheltered from the cold, perhaps the wind, the rain, the storm, that is mindfulness.
